She's livid!
Drug addiction is a touchy topic for pretty much everyone — especially for those who are currently experiencing it firsthand. Being addicted or being the loved one of someone struggling with the disease can be difficult to talk about, which is exactly why Maci Bookout and Mackenzie Standifer got into a huge feud at the end of last season of Teen Mom OG.
Throwing blame is common when someone around you is struggling with addiction. It’s true that there are often external forces that lead addicts back to get their fix, but when it comes to her husband Ryan Edwards, Mackenzie Standifer has some theories of her own.
She’s implied it in the past, but now she’s full-out accusing Maci of playing a part in Ryan’s addiction. She even believes that the Teen Mom is responsible for triggering his drug use.

When Maci Bookout first met Mackenzie Standifer, it was clear she was happy about the match. Although she is often at odds with Ryan Edwards, he’s a part of her and Bentley’s life whether she likes it or not. So it’s not surprising that she wanted to approve of his new girlfriend.
Luckily, Maci and Mackenzie hit it off immediately. “I really like her,” Maci later revealed. However, once Ryan’s addiction flared up, his struggles quickly came between them.
The two each had their share of accusations. Mackenzie accused Maci of exploiting Ryan’s addiction for Teen Mom, while Maci claimed that Mackenzie was fully aware of his addiction and simply didn’t act to help him. Now, Mackenzie is taking things to an entirely new level by accusing Maci of “triggering” Ryan’s difficulties. She even implied that the mother-of-three may be at fault for his addiction.
When Mackenzie went to visit Ryan during his stay in rehab, she discussed the experience with one of the producers. And it was all captured by MTV.

“I said one name, and boy was he…” she said, her voice trailing off. The producer asked, “You literally said Maci’s name and he was already triggered during the therapy session?”
“He was p–sed,” Mackenzie said, clearly getting irate herself. “Ryan feels like belittled and that he’s never been given any credit, which he hasn’t. And the more I think about it, the more mad I get.” She raged, “Ryan is not a bad guy.”
But Maci would have to be doing more than just getting under Ryan’s skin in order to trigger an addiction as serious as his. According to his wife, Ryan was spending $10,000 a week on his intense drug habit at his worst!
Since then, Maci has made some serious decisions about Ryan’s interactions with their son, Bentley. Not wanting Bentley to see his father under the influence, she has demanded that he take a drug test in front of her before spending time with Bentely. Considering the fact that Maci claims Ryan has been threatening her about the decision, it’s safe to assume things aren’t going well between these exes right now. Even though Maci reportedly RSVPed “yes” to Mackenzie and Ryan’s wedding, many reports say that she and Bentley were both no-shows when the big day came.
