More Disturbing News!
Right now, things are looking very good for Amber Portwood. She seems completely ecstatic about the fact that she’ll soon be the mother of two, now that she’s expecting a child with her boyfriend Andrew Glennon. Sure, fans aren’t sure exactly how Amber will handle the transition, but they seem to be relieved enough that Matt is now a part of her past.
However, the more that comes out about her baby daddy Andrew, the more nervous fans get. It seems that he has a fair share of skeletons in his closet, and even has a pretty lengthy criminal record. But this might be the most alarming update about Andrew’s past, considering Amber’s history with addiction: Andrew has been arrested for possession of ecstasy and heroin.

Amber Portwood’s life seems to have stabilized quite a bit in the months following her breakup with Matt Baier, but there’s no denying that her past was extremely difficult. Amber began abusing prescription drugs at a young age, and eventually her drug use landed her behind bars, putting Teen Mom OG temporarily on hold.
Amber was eventually able to kick her addiction, but she’s made it clear that she takes her sobriety very seriously. In fact, one of the biggest fights between Amber and Matt was after Matt offered Catelynn Xanax after he claimed to be sober. Amber generally has a very low tolerance for any kind of drug use, so this new information might put a serious kink in her new relationship.
It’s no longer a secret that Andrew Glennon’s past is… well, complicated. Andrew has a lengthy criminal record including DUI charges, possession of unlicensed weapons, and even restraining orders from exes who claimed he was stalking them! At the time, Andrew admitted that the news coming out about him was was “jeopardizing [their] relationship, which tears [his] heart. [Amber] is still processing. Right now everything is up in the air.”
Apparently, Amber was able to adjust to the news, since she and Andrew are expecting a child together. However, unless Andrew came clean about his entire history with drug arrests, this new update might be even more difficult for Amber to forgive.
Numerous Drug Charges

Court papers from 2009 — now published by Radar Online — reveal just how complex Andrew’s drug problem was. “[Glennon] did unlawfully possess a controlled substance, to wit, heroin.” The second count read, “[Glennon] did unlawfully possess a controlled substance, to wit, MDMA (Ecstasy),” the court papers read. A third count charged Glennon for being under the influence of an ADHD medication. He was held on a $10,000 bail.
According to Radar, in addition to being placed on a three-year probation,
“[Andrew] was ordered to attend psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, alcohol and/or drug treatment, out-patient, in-patient residential, narcotic replacement therapy, drug education and prevention or counseling, register as a convicted narcotics offender, not use or possess any narcotics, not drink or posses any alcoholic beverage, and other terms.”
Darker Past?

Andrew recently opened up about his difficult past, recalling his traumas to Radar.
“I have been through so much pain in my life,” he told the outlet. “My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer while my mother was fighting breast cancer. I prepped myself to potentially lose both of my parents. My mother survived, but my father did not.”
He said that this played a role in his recent DUI charge, saying, “Depression, drinking and throwing my heart trough any open door. It nearly cost my life.”
As if this weren’t enough, Teen Mom creator Morgan J. Freeman accidentally leaked the fact that Andrew may even have attempted murder in his past.
Andrew recently made his on-screen debut on Teen Mom OG, so fans will finally get to meet the mysterious man with such a sketchy history and figure out how they feel about him on their own.
