He stood up for his co-star!
The Teen Mom cast members have to endure a huge amount of hardship and difficulty in their lives, and they’ve had to learn to have pretty thick skin as the years have passed. Even so, losing a job can be an extremely troubling experience no matter who you are. Even someone like Farrah Abraham — who has made a career of gracefully handling hate from the general public — can be shaken by something as serious as losing a job.
Now, support for Farrah is coming from one of the most unlikely of sources: Amber Portwood’s ex-fiancé, Matt Baier. He’s slammed MTV over the “fake firing” incident, even calling them hypocritical!

“Fake Fired”

Farrah Abraham has been having a pretty rough time by anyone’s standards. A few weeks ago, she announced that she would be performing another cam show for CamSoda, where she’d be doing anal on camera for paying viewers, but when the day rolled around, Farrah couldn’t go through with it. She was too heartbroken from learning that she had just been fired by MTV because of her work in the porn industry. In fact, all of her viewers had to be refunded for the performance that never happened thanks to the incident!
Farrah took to Instagram to give a lengthy rant against MTV,
including saying that she was “[s]ad such a phenomenal show will no longer have its biggest talent on the show because of women hating, sex shaming, hate crimes, selfish, Weinstein company power trip behaviors against a professional hard working, honest mother.”
Mere days later, Farrah announced that she wasn’t fired after all. She revealed that MTV and Viacom executives had allegedly “fake fired” her and had “mind f–ked” her and her entire family. “Why has filming stopped?!” she wrote in a Facebook update.
She continued:
“Morgan J Freeman of 11th St productions is unprofessional, fake, women hater, press hungry,Sex Shaming, Hate Crimes, Poor Business Practices , unsafe working environment & accomplists Dia Sokal anxious 11 production, Viacom associate pill popping Larry Musnik , & Executive promoted alcohol binger producer Kirsten Malone, taking advantage and acting as a friend to spread jealous , hate crimes to the other teen moms & influence a toxic unsafe working culture, that’s why I don’t share a stage, I have security, I’ve gone to therapy!”
Standing up for Farrah

Farrah and Amber’s ex-fiancé Matt Baier have never really seen eye-to-eye. Matt flirted with Farrah on Twitter before he began to date Amber. When Farrah found out, she called up Amber to warn her away from Matt, but we all know how that ended. But now Matt is speaking in Farrah’s defense when it comes to MTV’s actions.
“Farrah and I have always had our differences, but what she does to support her child is her business,” Matt said in an interview with Radar Online. “One thing I have always respected about Farrah is the fact that she works constantly. People may not agree with how she makes her money, but at least she is setting her family up for the future.”
He then called MTV out for their hypocritical policies:
“MTV has a lot of balls passing moral judgment on anyone. It seems like their motto is ‘you can’t act stupid or do anything we deem immoral unless of course you do it on our show and it helps ratings.’ Total double standard and total hypocrites. Act as immoral as you want. Just don’t do it outside the confines of the show. Keep the crazy in the house. I have the utmost respect and love for every member of that franchise.”
