Is it over?
Jenelle Evans and David Eason shared a beautiful wedding with all of their Teen Mom 2 fans during the season finale of the show earlier this year. Jenelle’s supporters were thrilled that she had finally found Mr. Right, and that the two could put all of the drama aside and focus on having a life together with their new, blended family of six. Now it looks like their happily ever after may be coming to an end even faster than anyone expected.
A recent update from Jenelle has fans thinking that there may be trouble on The Land. In fact, Jenelle’s actions could indicate that the couple is already heading for splitsville… or maybe they’ve already arrived!

Over Already?

This week, MTV decided to air a very special spinoff about Jenelle Evans. Even though many of the girls have gotten spinoff specials about those close to them in the past, Jenelle’s was unique. Titled “The Ex Files,” the special chronicled all of Jenelle’s exes one by one. That’s right; from the notorious Andrew — Jenelle’s first baby daddy — to Kieffer, Gary, Courtland, and Nathan. The show gave all of their exes a platform to give their side of the story of their relationship with Jenelle, and not all of it was pretty.
It’s no secret that Jenelle and David are both pretty possessive people. David has been accused of controlling his new wife by fans and family alike. Jenelle’s mother Barbara has even expressed her distaste for her son-in-law time and time again. With that in mind, it’s not a stretch to imagine that seeing Jenelle and all of her exes discuss their relationships from the good to the bad might grind on David’s nerves quite a bit.
But is it possible that it upset him so much that it led to a fight that ended with divorce? A recent update from Jenelle has fans concerned that her marriage to David might be done — and the timing is undeniably fishy.

Many of Jenelle’s fans keep up with her on Instagram and Twitter, but some also keep an eye on her Facebook for any potential updates as well. When Reddit user sweetp0tat0fingers saw a pretty significant update to Jenelle’s Facebook, they thought signs could be pointing to divorce. “Jenelle is now ‘In a relationship’ and NOT ‘Married’ as her status on FB,” they wrote.
Not to mention that they had a screenshot to prove it. Instead of being listed as man and wife on Facebook, Jenelle has herself listed as simply dating someone. Even worse? David Eason apparently deleted his Facebook altogether.
That’s not the only clues that fans picked up on. Jenelle also changed her profile picture from a shot of her and David together to a selfie of her by herself. She also posted a picture of Ensley to Instagram with lyrics from the notorious breakup song “Let Me Go.”
Although Jenelle hasn’t publicly announced anything, many fans on Reddit seem to think that “The Ex Files” could have been what came between them.
“I just watched the Ex Files thinking ‘David will not be ok with any of this,’” wrote user dinotink.
User somethingsrgood complained, “I do not understand her thought process. So, they got into a big argument and she has demoted him from husband to boyfriend? Taking the law as a light suggestion, again, I see. You are legally married! It’s called a separation or a divorce. Okay?”
Sketchy Past?

Many fans believe that this fight broke out because of David’s jealousy toward Jenelle’s exes, but some believe there may be something else that has the couple on the rocks.
During “The Ex Files,” the narrative follows Jenelle’s first husband, Courtland Rogers. Although Jenelle revealed that she suffered physical and mental abuse at Courtland’s hands, there was something else that was revealed during the episode that may have set Jenelle off.
Many fans may already know the inside knowledge that Courtland fessed up to during “The Ex Files.” It’s no secret that Courtland and David have both done time in prison, but not everyone knows that they were actually in prison together. It’s possible even Jenelle didn’t know this, and that the new information started a huge fight between the two. Many theorized that it’s possible David pursued Jenelle because of her fame and money after Courtland told him about her.
“I am honestly wondering if it has to do with the confirmation from Courtland that David and Courtland were cellmates in jail and that Courtland had spoken to David about her,” wrote user Cosmic-Irie. “I mean, doesn’t that whole conversation scream ‘Greasy Matt and his bulls**t’ to anyone else?! Oh how convenient.”
Considering the fact that an insider close to Barbara claimed that David secretly admitted to using Jenelle for her money and fame all along, this theory isn’t a huge stretch.
