Leah Messer Shares Exciting Engagement News!

Leah Messer has walked down the aisle twice, with Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert. At the time, both of the men seemed like “the one” for her, but it soon became clear that Leah wasn’t really meant to be with either of them. Now, this engagement news that Leah is sharing has everyone thinking about her current relationship status.

Leah shared the exciting news that her younger brother, Isaac, just got engaged! His wife-to-be, Emily, captioned a shot of the breathtaking moment, “He stole my heart, so i’m stealing his last name??? #isaidyes#always&forever.”

Leah posted a shot of the big night as well. She wrote, “My hair was a little bit of a mess after the twins birthday party, but I’m so happy for my brother and his NOW fiancé [sic]!! ?? CONGRATS guys,” and tagged Isaac and Emily.

All the ladies in Leah’s family were there to celebrate the moment. Leah’s mother and sister were present, as were here too-adorable daughters. It seems like Emily will have a very warm welcome into the Messer family.

Leah has a lot to celebrate about these days. Her twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah, recently celebrated their birthday — and it’s hard to believe how big they’re getting.

Leah herself isn’t the one walking down the aisle, but it seems that the thought of tying the knot again isn’t totally out of the question. Leah isn’t that serious with anyone, but she’s clearly open to the idea of dating again. In fact, she asked fans for their thoughts on the subject with a pointed question posted to Twitter: “Do you guys want to see me go on more dates? I guess I should but I’m always a big chicken and filming dates makes it worse.” As of right now, 83% of her fans said yes, they do!

Even so, Leah seemed mixed about whether or not she wanted to do much more dating on camera.

One fan @kymjones13 wrote, “I want you to go on dates, but not on tv.” Leah agreed, “Lol that’s how I feel too.”

@JHNGB35 wrote, “I said no, because I want to see you with someone, being happy. Don’t go on more dates just for viewers. You’re so sweet and genuine, you deserve someone who deserves your greatness.” Leah responded, “Welll of course I’m going to do what makes me happy!”

Leah may not have always put herself first during her time on Teen Mom 2, and that’s gotten her into some pretty dark spots. Luckily, things have turned around for her recently in a major way. On top of stepping up her mothering game pretty significantly, she’s had such a massive glow-up this season that fans had to ask Leah whether she had gotten plastic surgery!
