This was unexpected!
When Javi Marroquin and Briana DeJesus started dating, the relationships in Teen Mom started to look less like a reality show and more like a soap opera. It was strange enough when Briana and Javi started hanging out outside of filming, but when they started dating it was understandably bizarre for many fans. Now that they’ve broken up, things between Javi, Briana, and Kailyn are more tense and uncomfortable than other… but it gets even weirder than that.
Now, it seems that this web of relationships is getting even more muddled. It looks like Kailyn Lowry’s third baby daddy, Chris Lopez, might be jumping into the mix! Has he been flirting with Briana over Twitter?!

Chris Lopez has made an effort to stay off the radar when it comes to Teen Mom fame. He has never appeared on the show itself (at least, not without having his face blurred out), which has confused many fans. Although some believe he is simply trying to stay out of the drama, others (including Kailyn) seem to believe it’s so that the other girls he’s with wouldn’t find out he was Kailyn’s baby daddy. Well, now the truth is out, and it seems Chris may be diving headfirst into the drama.
Briana DeJesus and Javi Marroquin were one of the most notorious couples Teen Mom had ever seen, until their relationship came to an abrupt end. After they split, Javi dug a bit of a hole for himself by discussing Briana on Kailyn’s podcast, Coffee Convos.
Needless to say, Briana was not happy about this, and she ended up going on a 45+ tweet rant, dragging Kailyn and Javi in an explosive tirade. Now, it seems like there might be even more to this drama than meets the eye.
According to many fans on Reddit, it looks like this love triangle may evolve into a love square, as Chris Lopez seems to be entering the mix. User hufflepuffle pointed out that Briana previously followed Chris on Twitter, and then unfollowed him. What he tweeted afterwards seemed to point directly to Briana.
Flirty or Petty?

“Sooo can she follow me again” Chris tweeted. He then added another clue, writing, “? now her page don’t exist *sigh*.” It seems to point directly to Briana, considering that she deleted her Twitter page after her long-winded rant.
Even though on the surface it seems that Briana and Chris might be genuinely interested in each other, many fans think that all of this is a ploy to stir up a reaction in Kailyn.
“I think [Chris] just wants to be petty,” wrote lmancini4. User leafmealonebae wrote, “Eh they’re all petty. Kail had [Briana’s first baby daddy] devoin follow her too and they have little convos too.” User _scissorme_ wrote them all off. “Lol Chris/Kail/Javi/Bri are so petty,” they said.
Others were less than impressed with Briana’s behavior. “Javi is dumb if he’s still entertaining the idea of being with Briana,” wrote LittleDickBitchmatt. “Kail is petty, but Briana is on a whole other level. Why would she feel the need to ever have any involvement with Chris?”
