David has been an amazing motivator for Jenelle
Jenelle Evans just had the best year ever, and it was due in large part to her brand-new husband David Eason. David has had a remarkable effect on Jenelle; he’s helped her create a loving, peaceful, trouble-free life. The newlyweds are just days into their marriage right now, so we want to take a look back and learn more about how this guy came to be in Jenelle’s life.

Meeting David

David was already an experienced father by the time little Ensley came along in early 2016. He has full custody of his nine-year-old daughter Maryssa from his marriage to Whitney Johnson. They were wed on October 21, 2006 and divorced by September 9, 2013. He then got into a relationship with Olivia Leedham, and had a son named Kaden. (He is currently fighting to have more custodial rights with that child.)
Jenelle is no stranger to marriage or divorce herself though. She has been engaged numerous times, and she was married to a man named Courtland Rogers from 2012 to 2014.

Jenelle met David on the popular dating app Tinder, which is also where she met her ex and second baby daddy Nathan Griffith. David and Jenelle flirted for two months on the app before finally meeting in person in late 2015. After six months, they moved in together. It wasn’t long afterwards that Jenelle found herself pregnant with his child.
Jenelle claims that David has a great work ethic, and he contributes a lot to their household. She said in an interview, “He’s a very hard worker, and I love that about him. He doesn’t care about me making money, or how much I get, he still pays his own bills, and he still gives me money for rent and everything, which I’ve never had any boyfriends do!”
Jenelle has been known to hook up with some bad guys, but David was a huge change for her. She said, “David is such a humble man and has never disrespected me. He can handle me so well. He treats my boys as if they were his own and that’s all I ever wanted for me and my family.”
Jenelle was quick to come to David’s defense when her fans commented on some anomalies on his flesh. David has vitiligo on his hands and arms, making his skin color abnormal. Jenelle has told her fans that some famous models have the condition.
David also has a prominent scar on his neck, and Jenelle informed her fans that it’s a result of skin cancer which David beat. In July 2011, David had surgery to remove his thyroid and lymph nodes.

David surprised Jenelle when he drove her out for a romantic weekend vacation in the mountains. He then proposed to her on top of a mountain after a long hike in February 2016. He made sure to inform MTV beforehand, so they got it all on tape. Jenelle said about the big moment, “David did an excellent job and I absolutely adore everything about it. The engagement was definitely one for the books! His idea was so original and he left me speechless.”
David and Jenelle finally tied the knot on September 23, 2017 at their house in North Carolina. All of their kids, except David’s son, were a part of the rustic southern ceremony. Jenelle said, “I definitely think that Ensley will be old enough to be a flower girl alongside David’s daughter Maryssa. While reading our vows, I would like the girls to be part of the bridesmaids and the boys to be part of the groomsmen.”
