Just because you’re on a television show, doesn’t mean that you’re protected from the long arm of the law. That’s a lesson that many members of the Teen Mom cast have had to learn the hard way over the years. Considering some of them have pretty lengthy criminal histories, they definitely have learned that lesson.
Unfortunately, for some it’s not quite as simple as that, and when drugs are brought into the mix, it can be even more difficult to break out of the cycle. That’s exactly what one star is experiencing as they find themselves behind bars once again.
Right now, Chelsea Houska seems to have found her perfect man. She and Cole DeBoer are raising Aubree Lind and Watson DeBoer and are planning to expand their family even further. In fact, the star recently opened up about the possibility of having a third baby on the way! However, it wasn’t too long ago that Chelsea still had a relationship with Aubree’s father, Adam Lind.
We all know that the young parents eventually parted ways, but that doesn’t mean that Adam Lind entirely fell off the radar. In fact, he began to make quite the name for himself as he got caught up in drug scandals and custody battles for both of his daughters.
Recently, things took a turn for the worse. Adam hit a new low when he was thrown in jail on Nov. 2 of this year. According to The Ashley, Adam has “four counts against him, including attempting to cause bodily harm, recklessly attempting to cause bodily harm, attempting to cause imminent bodily harm, and one count of intentionally causing bodily harm.”
Soon after his arrest, it was reported that one of Adam’s exes, Stasia Huber, filed a restraining order against the embattled father of two. She detailed chilling details of their relationship in the filing as follows:
“While under the influence of drugs, alcohol and steroids, [Adam] fractured my forearm, locked me in the house saying I couldn’t leave, smashed my phone, and, once he realized what he had done, he broke down crying and took me to the ER. We broke up for a while after that.”
These aren’t the only accusations that Stasia made against Adam. She also reported that he once “ripped the bedroom door off of its hinges and threw it across the room and then put a hole in the bedroom wall.” She also alleges that Adam once drank a six-pack of beer in just a few minutes at which point “[h]e threw a beer bottle and it smashed on the wall next to [her] and cut [her] leg and foot and hand.”
Now, Adam Lind is behind bars yet again. According to Radar Online, Stasia’s restraining order against Adam was granted for five years. “Because he wasn’t there it was granted. She still wanted to go through with it,” an inside source told the outlet.
At 3:47 p.m. that very day, Adam was arrested for “violation of conditional bond no contact in domestic arrest.” In short, he likely violated the restraining order almost immediately after it was granted which landed him back in jail. He is being held without bond in Minnehaha County Jail. His court date is set for today, Dec. 6, 2017.
Considering he goes to court today, I’m sure we’ll be getting more soon. Stay tuned!
