Kailyn Reveals the Real Reason She Can’t Name Her Baby!

The timing for Kailyn’s third child may not have been ideal, but she was led to believe that she may not be able to give birth as she got older; she suffered a devastating miscarriage that left her feeling like she should have a third child soon but didn’t know if Javi was the man she wanted to have it with.

Kailyn said in her blog, “This is the baby I thought I wasn’t sure if I could have. I know this isn’t an ideal situation but I know everything will be okay. And like I say in my book — with a little bit of hustle and heart, I can and I will survive anything. Having another child is something I am so happy about and I just can’t wait. My boys are so excited, those who love me are so excited, and I hope that everyone can just be happy for me during this time.”

While Kailyn explained that she would be living as a single mom because she was no longer romantically involved with the baby’s father, Chris surprised us all by being there for the birth.

Chris Lopez was in fact there for his child’s birth, though it’s unclear whether he was actually there for the delivery; he was spotted leaving the hospital with Kailyn a few days later.

Kailyn exclaimed about his presence, “I was always hoping he would come, but just based on how our relationship has been there was always a question whether he would have his phone on him or would he be at work. I’m so glad that he came.”

Kailyn is hoping that Chris will want to be around for his kid as he grows up helping to co-parent, but we can’t predict what the future holds for this young father.

Crazy Delivery

Kailyn and Chris didn’t immediately name their child because they wanted to get to know him as a person first which is becoming increasingly common. Most parents finally name their kids within a few days, but two weeks later, Kailyn has yet to choose his name. She has 30 days from the birth to bestow a name on the birth certificate.

It makes sense that Kailyn didn’t have time to come up with his name while going through labor. Baby Lo was ready to come out and make his world debut. She wrote about the very short labor in her blog, “My water broke at 1:30 in the morning and I got to the hospital by 2:40 and then I had him at 3 a.m. Labor happened so fast. Literally from start to finish was two hours.”

She continued about the hectic scene, “I begged for an epidural, but there was no time. My doctor didn’t even make it to delivery.” Baby Lo still came out a happy and healthy little man.

Kailyn has taken to Twitter to ask her fans and friends to help her out naming the child. She initially asked them to choose between Murphy, Ripkin, Griffin, Nixon, and Silas, but then said that none of those names really fit. Her friends seem to have given up giving her suggestions and just started joking with her.
