Kailyn and Javi Caught Kissing on Camera

So Happy Together

After Javi and Kailyn traveled to New York City to take part in the red carpet event, they took tons of pictures with each other and their castmembers. Kailyn smiled from ear to ear as Javi held her face and gave her a sweet kiss on the cheek.

We certainly haven’t seen them do that for a long time. Kailyn and Javi were so angry at each other at one point that Kailyn took out an order of protection against him, and he sued her for child support.

Now, it seems as though they worked through their issues and have reached a better place. However, don’t get too excited for them; they’re just happy to be co-parents. Javi said about his new relationship with Kailyn,

“I have love for her, but we’re not getting back together. If things were different and things didn’t play out the way they did, maybe we could’ve given it another shot. But too many things have happened to do that. We’re pretty good right now. We hang out a lot I have Lincoln 50 percent of the time. I go to all their soccer stuff. I see her almost every day.”

While Javi won’t be running back into Kailyn’s arms, he does hold a certain fondness for her that may never wane. “Kailyn, she’ll always have a soft spot in my heart. When she tells me stories of what she’s struggling with and what she’s going through in her life, it hits home for me,” Javi continued.

“I never want to see her struggle or go through stuff. I always want to help her out and ask if I can do anything. I wish things could be different but they’re not.”

It’s good that Kailyn has a smooth relationship with the fathers of her first two kids because it’s not so good with her third baby daddy Chris Lopez. Though Chris was at the hospital when Kailyn was giving birth to their baby, he just hasn’t been there for her or Lux since.

Bad Dad

According to people close to Kailyn, Chris isn’t a hands-on dad to his less than three-month-old son, and he won’t legally take responsibility for it. The insider said, “My guess is he won’t acknowledge paternity so she can’t file for child support. They give a form in the hospital, but he didn’t sign it.”

Kailyn is gearing up for a legal battle with Chris, and it may get ugly. The insider continued, “Her lawyer drew something up and they are going through the court because he doesn’t have any rights to Lux without signing. He’s not seeing the baby right now for those reasons.”

He also didn’t help out with a name. Kailyn said,

“It took me so long to name the baby because I was trying to work with Chris to agree on the name. But we just couldn’t agree. Until we ended things [between us] for good and I decided I would just pick something I loved and he agreed to the first name prior to me deciding it would be the name for sure.”
