Jenelle said that the entire day was very tense between her and her mother. That’s no surprise, as we have seen the tension play out on screen through Teen Mom 2.
It had gotten to the point where Jenelle refused to film scenes with her mother, as she believed that Barbara was only keeping Jace from her for the sake of MTV fame.

Jenelle doesn’t plan on being friendly with her mother anytime soon, saying “I’m really happy we could [come] to a decision for Jace but it doesn’t change my feelings towards my mom… She still isn’t giving up my son to me but I will fight again in the future when the time is right.”
She continued with, “[I will go back] maybe in a year, but I want the judge to see this new order has been in effect and [I’ve] been complying with it no problems.”

When the judge revealed his final decision, Jenelle reportedly broke into tears. Allegedly, the judge said, “Barbara, you need to start thinking about the child and not yourself in the future.” After all, that is what it all comes down to.
