Javi Rescues Kailyn From Her Violent Baby Daddy

There’s not a lot of information out there about Kailyn Lowry’s third baby daddy, Chris Lopez. In fact, there aren’t even that many pictures of him out in the public eye! Despite his apparent determination to stay out of the spotlight, Kailyn’s diehard fans remained optimistic that her third baby daddy would come through and be a good father to his son, Lux. But now it’s beginning to look like things have taken a serious — and violent — turn for the worse.

We recently reported that Kailyn had banned Chris from seeing their son, but the reasons behind it were a bit murky. At the time of that report, it appeared that her decision was due to Chris’ refusal to sign paternity papers at the hospital. That means that Kailyn has the final (and only legally relevant) say on what goes on with her son.

But The Ashley recently reported that the reasons for Kailyn’s actions were more than just legal matters. A source close to Kailyn revealed that Chris may have become violent with his baby mama.

“Chris was violent with Kail multiple times, once while she was holding the baby,” the source told The Ashley, claiming that they had personally witnessed the incident. They also claimed that Chris tried to break into Kailyn’s house, damaging her door and window, all to see Lux.

“Some of the film crew noticed a hole was punched in Kail’s garage door, and she confided in someone on the crew that Chris did it,” the source went on. “Nothing was filmed about it, though.”

According to them, Kailyn desperately wants this to stay off of the air. “Kail is really trying to keep this off the show because of how bad she got ripped by fans last time when she was dealing with Javi,” they said.

But now it looks like Javi is swooping in to make sure that Kailyn is safe. He told Radar that he’ll do anything to protect Kailyn from her circumstances.

“Kail and I talk everyday and right now I know she’s safe,” Javi told Radar. “I got her back.”

Javi added that Chris’s behavior didn’t come as a surprise to him. “I know how it’s going to play out,” he said. “It goes back to when she wanted me to meet him. He’s not going to do anything for my son. It doesn’t surprise me at all.”

Even though Javi and Kailyn aren’t back together, he said that making sure Kailyn and her family are safe his is “priority”:

“Make sure she’s safe, make sure the kids are safe, all three of them. Make sure they’re all safe. I do trust Kail in the sense where if they ever are not safe she will come to me and ask for help and get out of that situation. As far as being a mom, she always has those kids first. Her safety is second.”

These two have had their fair share of disagreements, but things between them look to be mellowing out. ““I hope she can get away from all the negativity and be happy. She deserves it.”

Kailyn has more to deal with than Chris being violent. Whether or not the insider’s allegations are true, they said Kailyn is working on “finding a safe way for him to have a relationship with his son.”

On top of all of this, though, Chris’s lack of motivation seems to be a serious problem for Kailyn. “Chris is literally the most unmotivated person she’s ever met in her life,” the insider told Radar. “He has no plans and works maybe three times a week if that. He has never bought anything for the baby except maybe a box of diapers one time.”

In the meantime, because of Chris’s refusal to sign the paternity papers, he has no legal rights over his son. “Until Chris signs the paperwork acknowledging paternity, he has no rights to Lux,” the insider went on. It’s unclear why Chris won’t sign paternity, though fans have speculated that he wants to make sure that Lux is actually his son before he takes legal responsibility for him.
