She put her foot down!
Time sure flies ― it’s been two months since baby Lux a.k.a. Baby Lo was born! Even though fans can’t get enough of the adorable baby pictures, there’s something else they’re more curious about: where things stand with Kailyn’s baby daddy, Chris Lopez.
Kail’s relationship with Chris has always been a bit confusing, maybe because even Kailyn isn’t sure where they stand. Fans have been wondering whether or not they’ll start dating again (or for the first time). They’re wondering if Kailyn has set her eyes on someone else. If so, which of the her many rumored partners is the lucky SO of Ms. Lowry?
Now, things look to be a little clearer, though for anyone hoping Kail and Chris would make it official… it doesn’t look good. In addition to cozying up with someone new, Kailyn has now reportedly banned Chris from seeing their newborn son.

Through the years, Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 have shown us the myriad of ways people approach co-parenting relationships. There are many dads who are not in the picture at all. Then again, there are many who are the polar opposite, doing everything they can to help raise their children. That said, Kailyn Lowry’s recent battle with Chris over paternity may just be a first for this franchise.
Many fathers are overjoyed when their babies are born, but apparently, Chris Lopez wants so little to do with his son that he won’t even sign paternity papers to confirm that the baby is his!
“My guess is he won’t acknowledge paternity so she can’t file for child support,” an insider told Radar Online. “They give a form in the hospital, but he didn’t sign it.”
The insider also pointed out that Chris won’t have any rights to see Lux without acknowledging his paternity. “Her lawyer drew something up and they are going through the court because he doesn’t have any rights to Lux without signing,” they told Radar. “He’s not seeing the baby right now for those reasons.”
Now, Kailyn has reportedly banned Chris from even seeing their son until he acknowledges paternity. She also announced that Lux will take her name, and will be Lux Lowry.

In the meantime, it looks like Kailyn will have a shoulder to cry on about her baby daddy drama. She’s hinted that she may be seeing someone new: a man by the name of Dionisio, who many fans will probably already be familiar with. For reference, he was the shirtless dude that was caught in bed with Kailyn while she was seven months pregnant with Lux.
Kailyn flirted with Dionisio publicly on Twitter, but where they stand soon fell into question when she tweeted, “Just when you think you like someone they’ll give you a cool 5 reasons you’re wasting your time.”
Radar went directly to the source to ask Kailyn and Dionisio where they stood.
“I wouldn’t say we’re dating,” Kailyn said. “I’m not dating anyone. But if I was going to date anyone, it would be him.”
As for Dionisio, he said, “No, we are not dating,” adding, critically, “Yet.” He continued, “Time will tell. Everything is fine as far as I know.”
