No matter what Chelsea Houska is doing, she always looks pretty put together. After a few years of studying to be a beautician, it’s no wonder that her hair and makeup is always on point, even if she’s just lounging around the house. Right now, there’s just something a little bit off about Chelsea, though.
She’s got a black eye.
Needless to say, that’s a cause of immediate concern for fans. However, things aren’t always what they seem to be. Chelsea is revealing exactly how she ended up with a black eye so that fans can relax. What is her explanation?

Having a black eye is never a good sign, but it’s safe to assume that many of the Teen Mom cast members have had a shiner or two while they were growing up. After all, some of them have pretty explosive personalities, landing themselves into physical altercations.
Even though she’s had her fair share of fights with her baby daddy Adam Lind, Chelsea Houska doesn’t really fit into this category. Even when she’s angry with someone, she’s not one to put up fists against another person.
So, how exactly did she end up with a black eye? Well, considering that Chelsea wanted to become a beautician when she was young, she got the mark in a very unsurprising way.

Sometimes the worst bruises have the most interesting stories behind them. In Chelsea’s case, that’s not really how things went down.
After tweeting that she always wondered if she’d “look cool with a black eye,” she let her fans in on how she ended up with her first face-bruise.
“I [definitely] thought it’d be from a cooler reason than trying to pop an undergrounder [pimple] too close to the delicate eye skin,” she wrote.
Poor Chelsea. She finished the tweet by writing, “#notcool #shouldveleftitalone.”
Many people reached out to Chelsea to make sure she was healing up okay, and she assured everyone that she’s just fine. “Of course!” she responded. “Lol it’s not that bad I just have a swollen area right under my eye from this b*tch pimple I should’ve left alone haha.”
Her face, however, may be singing another tune, according to the star. “AND I just got one of those magnifying mirrors with a light,” Chelsea continued. “so…R.I.P. to my face lol.”
“Omg I have a huge undergrounder under my left eye right now! Trying to avoid all temptation to touch it,” a fan wrote, sharing the mom-of-two’s pain. Chelsea replied, “Take my advice and don’t give in lol.” The fan then shared that Chelsea’s story made her think again!
Fans are getting positively spoiled by Chelsea’s advice on Twitter lately. In addition to dodging pimple-popping, Chelsea has also shared how she has achieved some stunning weight loss after having her second baby. When one fan asked how she managed to slim down after having two children, Chelsea shared, “Low carb ?.”
“I’m on a strict/low carb diet,” she told fans. “It was not easy! But I’m 10lbs less than I was before I got pregnant, so it’s been worth it.” She went on, “I do easy/quick meal prep. Lots of chicken breast and broccoli microwave steamers!”
Of course, there are drawbacks. “It sucks,” she wrote. “Today I made banana bread and tacos for the fam while I ate my chicken and asparagus.”
