“I talk to her at least three to four times a week when we’re in production. When we’re not in production, I would check in on her once a week at least—to find out what’s going on, to say ‘hi.’ We have built a friendship, and Kail does a good job of understanding that I’m a friend and producer,” Cueva told MTV.

Kailyn Responds

For what it’s worth, Kailyn has commented on the rumors that she is involved with her producer, but you won’t like what she said (or maybe you will if you’re rooting for drama).

Back when the dating rumors started in January, Kailyn responded with a pretty cut-and-dry “no,” and followed it up with the above tweet a few days ago. She also told Real Mr. Housewife that her relationship with Cueva is “strictly platonic.”

Naturally though, none of that has stopped fans from speculating…

“That’s what they want you to think!”

The root of this theory is actually in Kailyn’s denial of it (homegirl can’t win). Fans have pointed out that a relationship between a producer and their subject would certainly be frowned upon. So, if it were happening… of course Kail would deny it.
