After being on the air for nearly ten years, the Teen Mom cast members are used to rumors circulating about them. But not all rumors were created equal.It’s one thing for fans to believe that one star has had secret nip and tuck — and it’s an entirely different thing for fans to believe a star is in a dangerous or abusive situation.
Kailyn Lowry hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye with her third baby daddy, but could things be even worse than they seem? Her own co-star is spreading rumors that Chris has gotten violent with her in the past. Is there any truth to the rumors?

Kailyn Lowry is known for being strong and never backing down from something that she believes in. But domestic violence doesn’t discriminate, and now fans are beginning to worry that Kailyn could be a victim herself. Although rumors have stirred about the topic in the past, now there’s someone very close to Kailyn who’s suggesting they are true: her co-star, Briana DeJesus.
“Did y’all like #teenmom2 tonight?” Briana wrote on Instagram. One fan wrote in, “I wish a b*tch would talk sh*t about me in front of my kids. I would mop the floor with her a** period!” Briana responded by blowing up a dark rumor.
“Too bad she didn’t and would never lol,” Briana wrote. “And I wasn’t talking sh*t and shut the f*ck up cause she gets beat the f*ck up by [Chris Lopez] in front of her kids. Goodbye.”

It didn’t take long before Briana received backlash for her rumor spreading. “There’s no winning with her saying that,” pointed out reddit user MaybeTennessee. “She’s either put Kail’s business out there or she’s making sh*t up. Even if she did hear it from Javi, it’s still not her place, especially when she lasted 2.6 seconds as his girl.” User clevelandcray wrote, “Brianna is unlikable as it is. Does she not realize she’s not helping herself by doing sh*t like this? She’s so cringeworthy.” User Mrs_stepford wrote, “This is none of Brianna’s d*mn business. Kail isnt her boyfriend ex wife anymore. Shut the f*ck up.”
Fans expected Kailyn to be furious about this, but her response was surprisingly small. She simply tweeted, “Some people aren’t even worth the time and energy. I’ve worked too hard on my books & degree to throw it away on someone who runs their mouth for a living.”
Even Chris got in on the discussion, apparently having heard the rumors. He tweeted, “Let’s just keep my name out the teen mom drama ok? Ok,” he wrote. He added, “1 more thing lol I NEVER beat my [baby mama].”

However, it wasn’t long before fans also pointed out that this isn’t the first time rumors of Chris being abusive have come to the surface. In fact, an insider allegedly close to Kailyn was the first to blow up the rumors. They started soon after Lux’s birth when Kailyn was keeping Chris from seeing his son.
“I don’t want to keep Lux from Chris. That’s not the goal,” Kailyn explained to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “The goal is to take some time right now to figure out what works for us. I’ve obviously been through this before and I do want Lux to eventually have a relationship with his dad. Right now the circumstances aren’t right for that, though.”
However, The Ashley did some “digging” into the circumstances that Kailyn was referring to, and found someone close to Kailyn who alleged that Chris was violent with her.

“She’s trying her best to keep the real reason off the show,” a “production source” told The Ashley. “So far, the drama with Chris hasn’t really been covered for the show, but that’s only because it is hard to do when Chris won’t sign on to appear or have his name on ‘Teen Mom 2.’” But another source had more to say.
“Chris was violent with Kail multiple times, once while she was holding [Lux],” the source said. The source claimed that Chris “tried to break into Kail’s house at least once to see the baby and left damage on her door frame and window,” The Ashley reports.
The source added that “Some of the film crew noticed a hole was punched in Kail’s garage door, and she confided in someone on the crew that Chris did it. Nothing was filmed about it, though.” They added, “Kail is really trying to keep this off the show because of how bad she got ripped by fans last time when she was dealing with Javi.”
At the time, Javi seemed to be the one Kailyn had in her corner! “Kail and I talk everyday and right now I know she’s safe,” Javi told Radar Online.“I got her back.”
