Custody Bombshell: Kailyn Taking Chris to Court?

Kailyn is now the proud mom of three little boys, and she was shocked to find that her hands-off baby daddy Chris Lopez actually wanted to see his child being born; he hasn’t really been there for her during most of her pregnancy, even though she wanted him around.

Kailyn said about this turn of events, “I was always hoping he would come. Just based on how our relationship has been there was always a question whether he would have his phone on him or would he be at work. I’m so glad that he came.”

She believes that his presence in the delivery room means that he’ll be around for his child later on in life, though his previous behavior doesn’t make him look too good. Kailyn said, “I think every child deserves their dad. I’m hopeful, I’m positive he’ll be around.” Kailyn may believe that Chris will help raise his son because her first two baby daddies have been there for their boys, even helping to raise their stepsons. Chris may not be very interested in that though.

Kailyn is enjoying her maternal bliss right now and getting to know her new little guy. She and Chris are working together to name him; they have 30 days to come up with the perfect moniker. She said, “We don’t have a name at all and we don’t have any ideas either. I feel like everything we thought we liked doesn’t fit him.”

Chris may be helping out with the naming rights since the child will bear his family name, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be around for the long haul. Kailyn doesn’t sound very sure about his role in the child’s life either. She said, “He has school and work. I’m able to be home right now so I’ll have the baby most of the time. I told him he could see the baby whenever he wants.”

Working Out

Kailyn will have to wait to see if Chris wants to come see his child between his work and schedule, but as far as taking him to court for child support, she says that she’s “not even thinking about it.” Kailyn is clearly more concerned about Chris just being there than getting his money.

Kailyn is already preparing for some family photos, but she didn’t mention if Chris will be included. She tweeted, “Planning out outfits for our first family pix… order grey for everyone just to realize we did grey and jeans 2 years ago.”

This mom of three can definitely count on her first two baby daddies to take care of their respective children, and she’s going to make time for these brothers to spend most of their time together. Kailyn said about her new family schedule, “The kids go to their dads on their weekends and I have them on the same weeks. We’ll work something out for them to be together.”

When asked about whether she was saddened not to finally have a little girl, Kailyn answered, “No, I wasn’t disappointed at all. Boys are all I know so I think it worked out for the better. I always said I couldn’t picture myself with anything other than boys so I think it worked out.” She’s expressed concern over raising three children pretty much on her own, so having a boy would definitely be easier on her.
