Will Adam ever change?
I honestly don’t believe that Adam Lind will ever be the father that his daughter Aubree deserves. He is constantly disappointing Aubree, Chelsea, and now Cole.
Adam is best known for missing child support payments and ditching Aubree on the days she needs him most. He didn’t even wish her Happy Birthday this year.
Adam already looks pretty bad, but when put next to Cole, he looks even worse. We’re just glad that Cole is around to pick up the pieces, helping to give Aubree the childhood and the father that she deserves.

I think it’s safe to say that Cole is Aubree’s dad now.
She was born with a deadbeat father who does not what to be in her life and has made that clear several times. Yes, it’s tragic. But… on the bright side, Chelsea was lucky enough to find and marry a wonderful man that treats Aubree as if she is his own flesh and blood.
Aubree wishes Adam was more like Cole.

Aubree has made comments about wishing her father could be more like Cole. Adam goes out of his way to miss the important events in Aubree’s life.
It’s not even like Cole is picking up Adam’s slack for Aubree’s sake; Cole is there for her simply because he wants to be. I think that’s what a father is.

Chelsea will drive herself crazy trying to make Adam change.
Last year, he missed the father-daughter dance due to a weight-lifting competition. This year’s dance rolled around and Adam was a no show, again.
Luckily, this doesn’t affect Aubree too much … The way she sees it, she has two fathers. She even revealed to Chelsea that if Adam was able to make it to the dance, she wanted Cole to attend.
