Debra may be using her wedding to insult her daughter
Debra Danielsen has finally found the love of her life: Dr. David. Even though they haven’t known each other for very long, they know that they want to spend the rest of their lives together. They plan on getting married in November. As Debra plans out her wedding, she is thinking of ways to fill in the hole that the absence of her daughter Farrah will make. Someone has to be her Maid of Honor, and it may very well be Farrah’s biggest enemy: Amber Portwood.

Debra Danielsen’s wedding is quickly approaching, and we’re loving all of the details we’re getting about it. Debra said about her wedding, “It’s gonna be very, very musical at our wedding since we both love music. I have hired the Omaha Pipes and Drums to come and play — 11 members — so we’ll have six bag pipers and five drummers and they will help lead the procession. It’s going to be done very much like a real Scottish wedding. And after that, the bag piper will lead us out, and they’ll announce us as husband and wife, and we’re going to do our dance and then we’ll have some beautiful classical music.” She will also have a rapper other than herself at the reception.
While Debra was hoping to have a destination wedding somewhere tropical at first, she decided to stay home and hold it in her home state of Nebraska. That’s going to make it a lot easier for her guests to make it out, especially the ones she doesn’t really know. Debra is raffling off seats at her wedding to Teen Mom OG fans. Debra said, “So you know, you have to have a non-biased, totally fair way of doing them. So people who are genuinely interested are reaching out through social media, and when they tell me they’re interested, their names go into a hat and I have an unbiased, third party that goes in there and starts drawing names. So that’s the way it’s handled. Nobody is playing favorites.”
While this is shaping up to be quite the event, two important people refuse to be there.

After years of ups and downs, Farrah still isn’t getting along with her mom, and she won’t take part in Debra’s wedding; the same goes for Sophia. Debra sadly explained, “Farrah has not changed her mind and I haven’t been able to see Sophia or talk to her. I know it’s quite hurtful because I know how badly Sophia wants to be in [my] wedding. I’m praying to God for a miracle because my children are a big part of my life and of course, I love them. I think that families need to share those special moments, as they only come once in a great while — and this is definitely the last time I will ever get married!”
Debra did take it upon herself to invite many of Farrah’s co-stars, however, but it may just be an effort to annoy Farrah.

A source close to the Teen Mom OG cast has said that Debra asked none other than Amber Portwood to step in as Maid of Honor for the wedding. Amber and Farrah have been at each other’s throats for years, and it came to a head when Amber tried to attack Farrah in October 2016. The insider said about this turn of events to Hollywood Life, “Debra asked Amber to be her maid of honor at her wedding to spite Farrah who said that she didn’t want to come. She only asked Amber to come because Teen Mom and MTV will be filming Amber. This is Debra’s free meal ticket to a paid wedding that neither she, nor her man can afford. Their budget is so small that they plan to have the wedding at Debra’s house in Nebraska. Debra is very sneaky and Amber is mischievous enough to be in the wedding of her frenemy’s mother.”
That’s a whole lot of shade getting thrown! But Debra said that’s not the case whatsoever. She told The Ashleys Reality Roundup, “None of this is true. Not at all. [It’s] sad someone would make up such evil and hurtful lies. I am sad anyone would say mean things.”
Debra did invite Amber Portwood, and she invited the other Teen Mom OG cast. Some of the Teen Mom 2 cast will be coming as well, including Jenelle Evans’ ex Courtland Rogers. Her Man of Honor will be hairstylist Matt Feerhusen, and the November 5 ceremony will be held at Suzanne and Walter Scott Aquarium at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska. It won’t be at her home.
