This story just gets worse!
When you’re a Teen Mom cast member, it’s pretty hard to keep things secret for long. For the members of the cast who aren’t quite as famous, it can be hard to know what kind of dark skeletons are lurking in their closets. Chelsea Houska is learning that fact the hard way.
Chelsea — along with all of her fans — has recently discovered that one of her close friends has some serious horrors in his past. It has recently come out that he is guilty of trying to arrange to have an encounter with a 14-year-old minor at his hotel while he was away from his family. Now, all of her friend’s dark secrets are coming to light.

Even some of the most genuine and caring people on the surface can have some horrifying secrets. Although for some this may amount to difficult struggles they have overcome, there will always be those who have committed horrible offenses in their past. Unfortunately for Chelsea Houska and her friend Britnee Bawek, someone very close to them has been keeping exactly that a secret for years.
Britnee’s husband Alex — who Chelsea and Cole often hang out with — may have seemed kind and loving on the surface. In fact, he and Britnee just announced that they were expecting their first child together! But the exciting news soured after Alex was arrested following the announcement.
Arrests in Teen Mom are not entirely uncommon. Many of the girls have faced trouble with the law for things such as drug use or even domestic abuse. But what Alex was arrested for is much more unsettling than any of that: he attempted to arrange a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl.
Luckily, the girl in question was a police officer posing as a teen who responded to Alex’s ad for anonymous, intimate fun. The office wrote, “Hey. I like your ad. How r u… I’ m 14. Is it ok to talk?”
“As long as you’re not the police. Talking is fine,” Alex replied. The officer then sent a picture of an underage girl to which Alex replied, “Nice. You’re cute.” He told the officer that he was up for “whatever” and that he is “open-minded.”
“Being you’re 14 just makes me nervous. Don’t want to get set up by police. Lol. That’s all. When you finished with class. Want to come to hotel after?” he added. He later told the officer, “Well if you want to play with my c**k you’re more than welcome to… You haven’t ever had s*x?”

Alex arranged to meet up with the girl at a motel. When he arrived, he was met and arrested by police officers, who found condoms in his car. The complaint reported by Radar Online read,
“The defendant admitted he was there to meet an underage girl and claimed she said she was 16 or 17 years old. When [the detective] asked if she was actually 14, the defendant admitted she was. … the defendant… admitted he told the girl he wanted her to ‘wrap her lips around his c**k’ and agreed he considered having sex with the underage girl when he met her.”
Now, Radar is revealing that this isn’t the only time Alex has had trouble with the law.
On 2011, Alex was arrested for a DUI. “He did drive or was in actual physical of any vehicle while under the influence of alcoholic beverage, marijuana, or such controlled drug or substance,” read the court documents. Alex pled guilty and was sentenced to 45 days in Lincoln County Jail, and his driver’s license was revoked for 30 days.
Alex was also arrested for possessing alcohol while he was a minor in 2010. In this instance, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail as well.
Now, the charges that Alex is facing are much more serious. Instead of 40 days, Alex is facing up to 40 years in prison.
Although Alex has faced trouble with the law in the past, it doesn’t seem there were any signs that pointed to him being a child predator, at least not legally. That’s why this news must be even more devastating for Britnee, since it looks that she was completely blindsided by her husband’s predation.
