There’s been a major change in the crew for Teen Mom OG, and it has fans wondering what’s really going on when the camera stops rolling. The cast members aren’t doing much to explain what’s been going on between them all, but it appears that a producer was getting too close to her subjects (much like a spy who gets trapped in the seedy underworld that they’re investigating). More specifically… Field producer Heather has been let go from her position, and now Simon is blaming Amber!

Heather Walsh was the well-known field producer who was tasked with filming Amber and Farrah’s storylines. She was often seen pulling off her headphones, talking to her charges about what was really going on between them, and making sure they were doing okay.
She seemed like a real pro, but you’ll notice that she’s no longer on the show.

Simon Saran decided to comment on why Heather was no longer with them, tweeting, “Heather was fired because Amber threatened to quit the show. Then MTV worked out a ‘deal’ with her since she couldn’t handle the heat. The deal was Amber stays and Heather goes. A way for Them to hide the truth about Amber and what goes on behind close doors.”
Simon believes that Heather witnessed things between Matt and Amber that they didn’t want anyone knowing about.

Amber dispelled that rumor pretty quickly, firing back at Simon over Twitter, saying that he and Farrah are obsessed with her. She tweeted, “Why would I do that to her…I mean I’m an ass sometimes but I wouldn’t really want her fired. Maybe if Simon and Farrah didn’t always party then she would have been fine. That’s all I’m going to say….”
Amber was hinting at the story that Heather was getting way too close to Farrah and her family for MTV’s comfort. Her Twitter is full of photos with the family, and one source had this to say about the firing…
