Kailyn is finally an educated lady!
Kailyn Lowry decided years ago that she wasn’t going to be another statistic; she was going to get her college degree, no matter how hard she had to work. Most teenage mothers don’t even get their high school diploma, and very few ever get a college-level degree. But with MTV funding her life, Kailyn had the funds to go back to school. Now she’s ready to walk across the stage and take hold of her future in the form of a diploma.

On July 9th, 2014, when her second son Lincoln was nine months old, Kailyn revealed that she applied to Delaware State University. She was set on getting her bachelor’s degree, even though she had a 12-week mini-degree in dental assisting.

So many things happened to Kailyn while she was earning her degree. She had a miscarriage, which in part led to the destruction of her relationship with her husband Javi. They split in the spring of 2016 and officially divorced in December 2017.

Before her divorced was finalized, Kailyn wound up pregnant by someone that she has yet to reveal. She says that she wanted to have another child while she still could.
I’m sure she’s happy that she graduated from college just before her new baby was born…
