Amber is going through a lot right now with her maybe-maybe-not fiancé Matt. Her fans have been super supportive during her tough time, but now even fans of the Teen Mom OG series are beginning to turn their backs on one of the shows most controversial moms. Apparently, viewers are calling for Amber Portwood, mother of eight-year-old daughter Leah, to be kicked off of the show.
Amber has been revealing some pretty hefty secrets and feelings about her life on Instagram, and it’s reported that in one of the dishing sessions she may have actually advocated for violence towards women! Portwood has, many times before, admitted to being the victim of abuse. She has even paid the price for inflicting abuse on others, most notably her ex and baby daddy Gary Shirley.
Amber’s latest comments seem almost unbelievable, and fans are fed-up with her reckless commentary and more. What’d she say?
Taking a Stance
In late night Instagram confessions, the young star has been revealing her most personal secrets and details about the traumas of her life and her opinions on them. The discussions range from her tumultuous relationship with Matt Baier to being propositioned for a sex tape. Her followers usually eat it right up, but her opinion on more pressing matters have left those who tuned in slightly disturbed.
In a recent post, Amber actually admitted that she feels that victims of domestic abuse should keep quiet about their troubles. Even though she’s been through abuse herself, Amber never reported the violent behavior because “real women take it.”
She said: “I’ve been through domestic violence. I was the one on the other f**king end with the domestic violence — it went both ways. However, I never opened up my mother f**king mouth about anybody ever f**king hitting me! Anybody! Because that’s what a real f**king woman does! That’s what a real woman does. I can f**king take that!”
Of course, Farrah Abraham’s on-again-off-again boyfriend Simon Saran, had quite the rebuttal for Amber and her views on such a controversial topic. Simon tweeted, “A real woman opens up about domestic violence. Don’t listen to that bimbo. You can save someone’s life later down the road. #TeenMomOG”
