I wish that we could see more of her on the show
Sometimes, you think you know everything about a person that you’ve obsessively watched on TV for almost a decade, and then they reveal something that you had no idea about. Tyler Baltierra has been very open about his struggles growing up: the drugs he used, having unsafe sex with Catelynn and getting her pregnant, and making the hard decision to give up the baby for adoption so that he could straighten out his life. What we really didn’t know was that he was being helped along the way by his older sister Amber.

She’s the only sibling that Tyler has. She is his full biological sister, so Butch and Kimberly are her parents. Here’s an adorable throwback picture of Amber with daddy Butch.

It looked like Amber was with one particular guy for a few years right up until the start of 2017. They broke up, then Amber met this new fellow. She wrote to him, “People have searched for centuries to find the right way to say ‘I love you’ and to try to explain those butterflies in your stomach, that warm fuzzy feeling in your belly and that heart skipping a beat.”

She’s got two little ones of her own named Jordan and Lexi; she loves being the mom to a sweet dog named Stella too. Jordan and Lexi are a few years older than their cousin Novalee, but that doesn’t stop Amber from having Nova at her house all the time.
