She's fighting back!
With every passing week, it seems that things between Farrah Abraham, MTV, and Viacom are getting more and more intense. What started as a disagreement has spun out into a huge legal battle with accusations from sexual harassment to discrimination. As this season of Teen Mom OG swiftly approaches its finale, fans (and this reporter) are anxiously waiting to see how her rumored firing will actually go down.
Now, things are getting even more intense. At first, it seemed that Farrah was a potential victim of harassment, and her difference of opinions with MTV would lead to her termination. This update from Farrah says that things were much darker. In fact, they may even have been life threatening.
It’s no secret that Farrah Abraham and MTV are at odds right now. In fact, as of right now, Farrah will not be returning for the next season of Teen Mom OG. This comes after Farrah was reportedly fired by MTV after they decided that her adult industry engagements did not conform to MTV’s ideals. Farrah made it perfectly clear how she felt about their choice and the delivery of the news, which sparked accusations of harassment against them as well.
“Morgan J Freeman of 11th St productions is unprofessional, fake, women hater, press hungry,S*x Shaming, Hate Crimes, Poor Business Practices , unsafe working environment,” she ranted on Instagram after the news broke. “Taking advantage and acting as a friend to spread jealous , hate crimes to the other teen moms & influence a toxic unsafe working culture.”
Now, it seems there’s much more to the story than meets the eye.
According to Farrah, she feared for her life in the meeting. TMZ reports that Farrah has taken out a lawsuit against MTV.
According to the lawsuit, Farrah was a victim of harassment by Teen Mom executive producer Morgan J. Freeman. The lawsuit claims that Morgan “harassed, humiliated, and degraded her [for] doing p*rn.”
On top of that, Morgan threatened her career to an extreme degree. Farrah met with Morgan during a meeting in October, at which time he extensively harassed her, according to her claims.
TMZ reports that Farrah claims that he “threaten[ed] her future career at MTV, and she ‘feared for her life’ because he was hostile toward her.”
After the meeting, MTV fired Farrah from the rest of the season of Teen Mom OG and removed negotiations for a long-term deal from the table.
