Things are changing in this cast!
Things are shifting over at MTV’s Teen Mom headquarters, and it’s not looking good for the cast members. In fact, as tensions escalate between the stars, the crew, and MTV executives themselves, many fans have found themselves wondering how much longer the show will still be on the air.
There’s no way of knowing the exact answer to that question, but for certain cast members, the end is near. In fact, for Jenelle’s husband David Eason, the end is already here.
After David’s bombshell firing, it seems that Teen Mom may be losing yet another cast member, or even coming to an end entirely.
Dropping Like Flies
Things move quickly in the Teen Mom-verse, and fans who don’t check headlines daily may not even know that Jenelle Evans’s husband David Eason has been formally fired from MTV after going on a homophobic and transphobic rant.
It’s official that Teen Mom 2 will now officially have one fewer cast member, but now it seems it may be losing even more than David. It may be losing Jenelle as well!
MTV has not announced that Jenelle will be losing her job as well, but it has halted filming on Jenelle for Teen Mom 2 according to Radar Online.
“No cameras were at Jenelle’s house after David got fired or the next day and there were no plans to resume filming anytime soon,” an insider told the outlet. Apparently, MTV isn’t quite sure what Jenelle’s fate will be.
“MTV is having meetings all week to discuss the situation, trying to figure out if they are going to fire Jenelle or not,” the source revealed.
In the meantime, Jenelle and David seem to be perfectly happy post-firing, and have just shared bizarre videos of David shaving all of his hair off. Hey, everyone has their own way of coping!
It seems that Jenelle’s good mood may come from her choice to quit the show.
“Jenelle wants to quit the show because she says David is her husband and she has to support him,” another source revealed to Radar. “She said that she was a team with David, but she’s also sick and tired of all of the negativity that gets put out there about her. She feels so hated by all of the other girls.”
Although David has not apologized for his comments, Jenelle has issued her own (kind of) apology.
“David didn’t understand how offensive people would get or how Twitter even works,” Jenelle said. “Now that he realizes his voice is very strong within media/tabloids he has deactivated his account. He agrees he will keep his comments to himself from now on.”
