They're locked up!
For many people, being on the wrong side of the law is an unfortunately common part of life. There are many Teen Mom stars who have never seen the inside of a jail cell, and who probably never will. For others, it seems like they’re behind bars more than they’re walking free. Many of the cast have at least a mugshot or two floating around, but this star in particular seems to be spending a significant amount of time in a jailhouse, especially lately.
Now, they’ve been arrested once again for an even more serious crime than usual. After police made a huge drug bust, they’ve been charged on new counts, and it may be some time before they’re walking free.
Even though Jenelle Evans and her husband David Eason might not be the most popular couple after their recent firing scandal, Jenelle has certainly had it much worse with some of her exes. Although now his life seems more stable, when Courtland Rogers was dating Jenelle Evans, he was a huge part of her addiction to heroin. Now Jenelle is clean, but it’s clear that Courtland is not.
According to a spokesperson for the Brunswick County Detention Center in North Carolina, Courtland was arrested on March 14th at 2:45pm on the charges of parole violation and habitual felon, as reported by Radar Online. According to the source, Courtland has no bond, but has an upcoming court hearing. According to Radar, this means that he has at least three felonies.
“The probation board hs up to 10 days to have a hearing with Rogers for the violation,” a spokesperson told Radar. “He will be released depending on what the probation board rules.”
This is Courtland’s second arrest in a short span of time. He was arrested on February 22nd for “possession with intent to manufacture/sell a schedule III controlled substance. A Schedule III substance includes ‘Ketamine, Anabolic Steroids, some Barbituates,’” as reported by Radar. At the time, he was also charged with a parole violation, and was later released on February 26.
Courtland’s court hearing is scheduled for April 10th, and the timing of this arrest could have devastating effects. His new baby with his wife is 37 weeks pregnant, and could be due while Courtland is behind bars.
