Just as Amber and Matt announce their plans to get married in October 2017 and MTV aired its Being Matt special, a young woman has come forth on Twitter, saying that her friend has been hooking up with Matt, as have many other women, for a while.
Twitter user Katie Rowe would only release a small snippet of text conversations between Matt and the unnamed friend; she sent the rest to the gossip site The Ashley to prove they were real. The cite received all the texts from the source and have verified that it is Matt’s cell phone number. The site tweeted, “I can verify that the texts she’s talking about do, indeed, come from Matt Baier’s phone number.”
