When you’re vacationing in Iceland, the last thing you wanna do is get stuck in the snow — especially when you’re pregnant. That’s what happened to Kailyn Lowry after she abandoned her bestie, Leah Messer.
Kailyn and a group of girlfriends were vacationing on a trip to Iceland when the soon-to-be-mom-of-four got stuck in the snow. Driving through high-winds and below-freezing temperatures, Kailyn hit a bump in the road, causing her car to get stuck in the ice, according to The Sun.
The 27-year-old took to her Instagram Stories to document the incident. Kailyn posted a picture of the car surrounded by ice.
“So this happened today,” she wrote. “Our car was run off the side of the road straight into snow that was as tall as the doors.”
In a separate post, Kail elaborated on the event, revealing that she and her friends were “casually stuck in the snow” in Reykjavik. A few hours later, the former teen mom tweeted, “Rachel and I made it to our house in Iceland without a gps… a 2 hour+ drive & the language is soooo hard.”
Sounds pretty hectic.
Thankfully, Kailyn and her crew made it out just fine; And Kail’s pregnancy didn’t seem to be affected by the incident. Leah Messer was also supposed to go on the trip, but former BFF Kail bailed on her. You see, the two planned to go together until Leah was accused of being in a cult.
The night before Kailyn got stuck in the Iceland snow, Leah was at home, nursing herself back to health. The 27-year-old posted a video on Instagram Stories, revealing that she’s under the weather.
