Teen Mom 2 wrapped for its season well before Christmas, meaning that it’s been going on two full months without Teen Mom OG.
By now, fans are used to only waiting a week or two between Teen Mom 2 and Teen Mom OG, so this hiatus has many wondering if Teen Mom OG got cancelled.
There’s plenty of reason to speculate about that: after all, Amber Portwood’s violence against her baby daddy Andrew Glennon has had many wondering whether she’d be allowed back on the show.
Now, it looks like the waiting is over! A trailer for Teen Mom OG has finally dropped, and it looks like this season is going to be crazier than ever.
To say that this season of Teen Mom 2 was brutal for many of the girls would be a total understatement.
This season, Chelsea Houska struggled with her enduring battle with anxiety. She even recently revealed that she thought her anxiety might literally kill her! She also had to endure heartbreak as she realized that her daughter Aubree is now old enough to understand that her father, Adam Lind, doesn’t care enough about her to spend time with her.
Kailyn Lowry’s battle with her baby daddies has raged on, and she even had some tense legal battles with her first baby daddy, Jo Rivera. But there’s one baby daddy she was battling with in a different way: Chris Lopez, since their relationship is still on-and-off. In fact, she’s recently shared texts from Chris’s new baby mama!
As for Leah Messer, her storyline was a lot more romantic. Even though we followed a will-they-or-won’t-they between her and her baby daddy Jeremy Calvert, things between them ultimately never took off. It’s just as well, since Leah seems to have a new man already!
Briana DeJesus’s love story also ended in heartbreak, while Jade Cline was too focused on her mother’s arrest to have any time for love. And as for Jenelle Evans, well, fans have had to get updates about her love life on social media!
The Teen Mom 2 reunion packed quite a punch, including some literal punches when violence between the stars erupted on the reunion set. But it also gave us something very exciting: a sneak peek into Teen Mom OG’s next season!
We’re here to break it all down for you.
“If these moms can get past the breakdowns… the tears… and the drama, will the OGs have finally made it?” the ever-familiar Teen Mom trailer voiceover begins the trailer amid shots of our girls looking distraught.
Amid these segments, Mackenzie McKee proclaims, “I want this divorce!”
Amber, walking into a courthouse, warns, “Don’t f*ckin’ play with me!”
“On Tuesday, March 17, the kids are older, and OG moms need to find out what’s next,” the voiceover proclaims.
