MTV will give the kids more options that the moms had

Women who become mothers, while still in their teens, are highly unlikely to graduate with a high school diploma. They’re even less likely to attend college, and their chances for getting a job with a good, livable salary are low. The more kids they have, the more these statistics become true. The children of teenage-moms are probably going to follow in their footsteps by having children young and remaining in poverty.
