A Whole New Face!
Kailyn Lowry has spent her fair share of time under the knife, and she’s never been shy about her motivations or just how much nipping and tucking she’s had done. Over the years, the Teen Mom 2 star has had numerous cosmetic procedures to fix her perceived “problem areas.”
In addition to work on her face, she’s also gone under the knife for a “mommy makeover” performed by the infamous Dr. Miami. This included a tummy tuck as well as a Brazilian butt lift — and if you wanted more details about it, well, Dr. Miami posted the entire thing to Snapchat.
Recently, it looks like Kailyn went under the knife yet again. But has she gone too far? A lot of fans, seem to think so. Kailyn is virtually unrecognizable after her latest procedure.

No Stranger to Surgery

Plastic surgery is pretty common for the Teen Moms. Although some of the girls have only had minor nips and tucks, like Jenelle Evans, others like Farrah Abraham have had head-to-toe makeovers.
One such Mom is Kailyn Lowry who has had quite a few surgeries in the past. When her memoir Heart and Hustle came out, she explained why she turned to cosmetic procedures:
“For years I struggled with eating disorders, and I was extremely self-conscious about my weight. This is rarely something you ever completely get over. It’s nice to think that the ultimate goal would be to feel totally at peace with my body, whatever it looks like. But in reality, that’s something that has to be maintained continuously.”
She says she knew that there were healthier ways to love her body, but she didn’t feel they were giving the results she wanted. “I’d committed so thoroughly to working out and maintaining a healthy diet,” she wrote, explaining that she tried other outlets like Crossfit. “But it was clear there was only so much I could do to change the shape of my body.”
Kailyn explains that her frustration is why she turned to plastic surgery:
”’I’m human. I care how I look. I knew that being satisfied with my outer appearance would give me the confidence I needed to face the world head on. For me, the things that I wanted to change about my body were nagging little distractions from the deeper missions I wanted to work on.”
Now, it looks like Kailyn has gone back for more. “I am going to the dentist to get my veneers done,” she explained on social media. “They are super thin. No prep, no drill, no pain.” But then she posted a picture of her results on social media, and fans weren’t even sure it was Kailyn they were looking at!
She uploaded this picture with her and a friend, captioning it, “Got to see my babe tonight!”
Fans immediately went off about how different she looked!

“Just teeth?” asked Instagram user xgemxinix. “It reallly looks like you got fillers and or surgery.”
Another user, myka_myshay wrote, “You can def tell she got her lips done today. But the teen moms have had some type of plastic surgery.”
Many people came to her defense, as well. User potentially_flawless wrote, “Leave her alone, y’all sound pathetic lol. Just because someone looks good doesn’t mean they went and had surgery done lol. Stop spreading lies and only speak on facts that’s you know. You look great girl lol don’t mind them.”
User mrz_castro24 agreed:
“does it really matter if she did? She doesn’t need anyone’s permission. If you wanted something done I’m sure you wouldn’t ask her or anyone else. If she wants to start working or injecting she could I mean she’s had 3 Kids not saying she needs it cuz she doesn’t but her choice. At least she isn’t this plastic addicted for no reason. Whatever she’s had done is very natural and not fake.”
Some didn’t even care if she had surgery or not! User melissa_lynn92 wrote, “Honestly, if she did have all that stuff done (which she didn’t) WHO IN THE HELL cares. Her money, or body, she can spend and do whatever she wants to herself. I think she’s gorgeous regardless. You are nothing but haters, and obviously jealous.”
But Kailyn soon took to Snapchat to set the record straight. “People think I got cheek fillers, a nose job, a tummy tuck and my teeth done,” she said. “Definitely only got my teeth done. I didn’t do anything else to my face.”
She said the difference was because it was the first time she had worn makeup in a while. “I still have a snout,” she said. “I look pretty much the same.” She told In Touch Weekly that a makeup artist simply “contoured the s–t out of my face!”
