Everyone has had their fair share of rough breakups. Whether they were lied to, cheated on, or just made to feel like they weren’t worth fighting for, things can get ugly toward the end of the relationship. It’s no wonder some people decide to stay single after a bad breakup in order to recover.
Normally, people dust themselves off after a few months or so and then dip back into the dating pool. In the past, that’s exactly what Kailyn Lowry has done.
But apparently, she just doesn’t have it in her anymore. Now that Javi Marroquin has stringed her along for the last time, Kailyn announced she has decided that she’s going to stay single for the rest of her life.
Too Many Times
Kailyn Lowry is a pro at handling herself after ugly breakups. When she and Javi Marroquin got divorced, it made headlines across the country, and everyone knew about her business. She still managed to stay composed and work her way through it. Then, when her third baby daddy Chris Lopez bashed her across social media after their split, she still held it together. It seemed that Kailyn could take anything — but apparently that’s not the case anymore.
Even though Kailyn and Javi never publicly got back together, it’s now apparent that they were on the verge of working things out. In fact, it has just come out that Javi and Kailyn were about to make it official before he decided to go back to his ex girlfriend, Lauren Comeau. Javi even admitted he treated her wrong.
“[Kail] was blindsided, which is my fault,” he told Radar Online. “I kind of continued to do my own thing and didn’t wait for her to show me assurance. I definitely could’ve done things differently.”
It looks like this bait-and-switch move hit Kailyn harder than anyone thought it would.
No More Trust
“It’s really hard to trust and to teach trust when we’ve all been burned so many times,” she recently shared on Twitter.
On top of that, Kailyn has shared that a lot of people have been sliding into her DMs these days, and it’s seriously turning her off of the dating scene. “Reason 742 I will never date again #decline,” she captioned a screenshot of a DM that read, “Why are u soo bad Wu’s good.”
She even retweeted a tweet that reads, “I don’t care what I accepted in the past, I’m not accepting that sh*t now.”
