If they don't kill each other first!
There’s a lot that goes on in a Teen Mom’s life that isn’t captured while cameras are rolling. Many of the Moms have been outspoken about the way that MTV’s show makes things look different from how they really are. Perhaps because of this, many of the cast members have decided to write tell-all memoirs about their lives to set the record straight. Well, let’s be honest: it’s for that reason, and also for the extra money.
Even with all the books that have been published telling the behind-the-scenes details of the show, this might be a first in Teen Mom history! Javi Marroquin has been working on a tell-all of his own for some time now, but it looks like things are taking a different twist. Now, Javi and Kailyn Lowry are co-writing a book about their shared experience!

Book Blocked!

Javi Marroquin has been working on his memoir for a while, and — despite Kailyn’s attempts to block certain parts of it — he seems to be going ahead with his plans. “The book is coming,” Javi said in an interview with Radar Online. “There are things in there I needed Kail’s permission to say. She’s obviously not happy with some of the stuff in there. That’s the delay right now.”
It probably doesn’t help that Kailyn and Javi’s relationship is a so-called “roller coaster” right now. “Our relationship is for sure a roller coaster,” Kailyn told Radar. “Right now it’s pretty down. I’m sure in a couple of days or next week it will be back up.”
Even though Javi has the book close to finished, Kailyn refuses to sign off on some aspects of their relationship that he wants to publish. “I have read the book. I actually read it twice,” Kailyn revealed. “I just feel really bad that he feels the need to put every single detail out. There are other ways to stay relevant.”
Considering just how frustrated they seem to be with one another, no one expected this to come out of left field: an update that he and Kailyn will be co-authoring a book!
‘He Said, She Said’

Javi updated with a cover of the book that he posted on his Instagram account. The cover reads, “There are always two sides to every story. This is ours.” Below it is the title “He Said She Said,” each on two different sides of a heart.
The two haven’t spoken much about their plans for the book, but that hasn’t stopped fans from sounding off with their thoughts. Reddit user YahKnowYahLummeh wrote their own summary, writing, “Him – ‘I was right, she was wrong.’ Her – ‘No, I was right he was wrong.’ Now you don’t have to read it.”
“They must really think they’re so important that people are gonna read a he said she said book? And then what? We all know how it ended. ‘How to make money on your divorce’ would have been better,” user parfoistoujours wrote.
Some even thought this may have been pre-planned. “Ya… so the Kail-Javi drama was basically skimmed over on TM2 and Kail was pretty adamant about not discussing it on camera. Now it really seems like it was bc they both wanted to cash in via MBC and a book deal… you would think MTV would eventually say enough is enough,” said user ROFL_stiltskin.
