Jenelle Evans has been happily sober for some time now; she knows what it’s like to fall into a dark, drug-filled place and have to dig your way out of it. She won’t be allowing narcotics to ruin her happiness now; she knows that she has to stay completely clean if she ever wants to get her little boy Jace back.

Back when Jenelle was dating Keiffer Delp, she was deeply addicted to heroin, although she completely denied it to everyone. The couple was seen on the show searching for drugs in their house and nodding off on the couch.
She was happy to leave her child with her mother because addicts of this caliber only care about finding their next fix. It was a near-death experience that finally made Jenelle hit the rock bottom and made her want to live.

Jenelle is being more honest about her former addiction than ever. In an interview with US Magazine, she stated, “I want to bring attention to how severe the heroin epidemic is. It’s horrible. It is like a disease and needs to be treated like it.”
The heroin epidemic is taking over every corner of America through all races, genders, and classes. As people become addicted to prescription painkillers, they eventually seek out the cheaper alternative of heroin. Overdose deaths are skyrocketing, and local medical professionals can barely keep up.
