Now, fans are experiencing something of deja vu. On July 23, Ryan was arrested and booked with no bond once again. He was “Booked on Previous Charge or Other Reason” in his home state of Tennessee.
According to gossip site The Ashley, Ryan’s charge was listed as “possession of controlled substance.” His court date is set for August 6th.
Fans were quick to sound off about this update. “Jesus f*ck,” wrote user PygmyFists on reddit. “Somebody needs to f*cking help him. His family and Mack aren’t doing him any favors. Somebody really needs to step in, and help him get better. Idc if they put him in jail or rehab or whatever the f*ck. Ryan needs help.”

Recently, a tweet has been circulating the fandom about Demi and Ryan that reads, “Demi Lovato does heroin – tons of love and support and well wishes. Ryan Edwards does heroin – he’s a piece of sh*t loser, etc. Don’t @ me with any bullsh*t.”
However, not everyone agreed with that sentiment. “Ryan was all those things before he ever touched drugs,” wrote Mecryyou on reddit. “Demi is very open about her struggles. Demi didn’t have a baby young. Demi didn’t get married. Demi isn’t expecting another child while still not having her shit together. Demi isn’t threating to kill her ex and their family ,” wrote Momofboyses. They added, “Demi seems like her issues are about herself and herself alone. Whereas Ryan plays the blame game with everyone. Demi comes out and says, whoops! I f*cked up guys. My bad. Ryan doesn’t do that. It’s always someone else’s fault. Ryan was a turd before he was on drugs. Heroin or not he’s a turd.”
