One of the hardest things that a parent can go through is a custody battle. Your entire lifestyle is examined as you plead with a judge about having the ability to raise your own kid. Jenelle Evans has had the most custody issues of any of the Teen Moms, and she said it’s all due to a ruse that her mom pulled on her.

Jenelle is holding nothing back in her upcoming book Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom, and one of the most tragic things she’s ever been through was losing custody of her firstborn son, Jace, to her mother. According to excerpts in her book, Jenelle says that Barbara set her up to take Jace away.
Just Relax

Jenelle explained how it all went down, “One night, my mother convinced me to go out with my friends so I could relax. My mother. Wanted me to relax. I should have been suspicious at the time. My mother wasn’t the relaxing type of person, much less the kind of woman to encourage others to enjoy themselves. Least of all me. I took the bait, however, and went out for the evening with Tori.”
A Lie

She continued, “When I returned home with Tori the next morning, we found a Child Protective Services vehicle in the driveway. My mother had called them and told them I was out partying all night and left my son at home. She told them I did this pretty much every night, which was a lie.”
And it went downhill from there…
