When you’ve gone through as much as Jenelle Evans has, it’s no question that you’d have some pretty low days. She’s lived through drug addiction, abusive relationships, and endless rumors and hate thanks to her Teen Mom 2 stardom. It looks like Jenelle’s past struggle with mental health might be rearing its ugly head once again. In inlight of recent accusations about abuse and drug use, there’s no question as to why.
That said, the timing couldn’t be worse. Jenelle’s wedding to fiancé David Eason is less than a week away, but she’s opened up to her fans that she’s might be falling back into a depression again.

Doris and Barbara’s Accusations

A few weeks ago, Jenelle’s life seemed to be on track. She was set to be married to her fiancé, David Eason and she just won back (some) custody of her son, Jace, from her mother. Now, it seems like both of these things might be in jeopardy.
Nathan Griffith’s mother, Doris Davidson, kicked off a series of setback for the star thanks to her recent accusation that Jenelle has fallen back into drug abuse and it started months ago when she was pregnant with her daughter Ensley.
Doris went to court earlier this month and accused Jenelle of smoking marijuana while she was pregnant with her youngest child in an effort to gain custody of Kaiser. In the court documents, Doris claimed that Ensley “tested positive for marijuana” upon her birth. She went on to claim that “DSS became involved due to Ensley testing positive for marijuana and opened an investigation. Upon information and belief, both Plaintiff and David [Eason] had positive drug screens for marijuana,” according to Radar Online. She requested custody of Kaiser, who is at the heart of even more abuse allegations.
It wasn’t long before Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, became involved in the accusations. She claimed that Jenelle and David may be abusive to their children. “I’ve been worried about Kaiser for a long time,” she told Radar Online. “We think because he looks like Nathan, David gets more angry with him because of that fact… I think he’s trying to get rid of him, and then he’ll only have his own two kids and Jenelle in the house. He’s a conniving little thing.”

She added, “It is true that Jenelle locked Jace and Kaiser out. It was over 100 degrees. Jace told me. He was upset. Because Kaiser kept going in and out of the house, David locked them out.” She also claimed that David had hit Kaiser, saying, “Jace told me David hit Kaiser. Kaiser was pulling his diaper off because it had poop in it, and David got so mad that he spanked him really hard.”
Jenelle fired back with her own accusations, claiming that Doris herself may be the one perpetuating abuse. The minor child has returned from his visitation with Defendant with severe bruising on his buttocks,” Jenelle claimed in her own court documents, according to Radar. “Plaintiff attempted to address this concern with Defendant and Doris Davidson and both the Defendant and Doris Davidson became hostile, threatening, and rude toward Plaintiff and would not maintain a respectful or business-like tone with Plaintiff.”

Even though Jenelle is firing back legally, it seems that these accusations have been affecting her in much more personal ways. She took to Twitter to ask for patience from her fans, saying, “I will share to all my fans that I’ve been extremely depressed and upset. Please just let me be at this time.”
Considering Jenelle’s wedding is swiftly approaching, the timing couldn’t be worse. And considering that Jenelle’s ex, Nathan Griffith, just updated fans about his recent engagement to girlfriend Ashley Lanhart, Jenelle probably has a lot on her mind leading up to her wedding. Hopefully she’s still able to enjoy her big day!
