Jenelle Evans is doing far better right now than anyone, including her family and fans, could have predicted. When she found out that she was pregnant again, she and her boyfriend David Eason stepped up and decided that it was time to stop partying and getting in trouble and be responsible parents to their five children. They even built a brand new home deep in the woods of North Carolina just to be able to care for them all better.
But one piece of this perfect puzzle is still missing. Jenelle wasn’t even allowed to spend time with her first child on her special day, and she’s heartbroken.

When Jenelle’s first child was still very little, she voluntarily signed over custody to her mother Barbara who said that she was making a wise decision. Jace was in better hands while Jenelle was navigating young adulthood, getting in legal trouble, and dealing with drug addiction.

Jenelle and David have proved that they can rise above all of that darkness and take care of their many children. According to Jenelle, David’s daughter Maryssa is now living with them full time, and she spends weekends with her mother.
