Jenelle shared an update on their home, which was a picture of one of her dogs on the porch. On the ground below, it appeared large puddles were forming. “Yard is flooding…storm isn’t even here yet,” she wrote on the story.
Jenelle then shared another update on her animals, posting a video of her pigs, ducks, and dogs in the yard.
“All the animals are safe from #HurricaneDorian,” she captioned the video. The yard doesn’t look nearly as flooded or swampy as the first photo she shared.
Barbara Evans shared an update on their experience with the hurricane as well. She posted a photo of a scrambled eggs, cheese, and what appears to be hamburger buns and butter.
“Making breakfast in driveway after Hurricane Dorian for Jace and I no power,” she captioned the photo.
Fans on reddit were quick to compliment Barbara’s resourcefulness.
“For a woman of almost 70, it seems like Jace is keeping her one her feet and young. Props to her, it takes a special kind of person to step up and take on that responsibility,” wrote one user.
“Looks like theyre making it work,” wrote another.
“What a great life lesson on improvisation and fighting out solutions,” wrote a third user.
Well! Now, Jenelle and David are sharing another video, and this time they’re moving their pigs from one plot of land to another.
