The tables have turned!
On a surface level, it seems that Jenelle Evans’s life is in a very good place. In fact, in just a few weeks, she’ll be married to her third baby daddy and fiance, David Eason. If you’ve been following her more attentively though, you know that she’s actually facing some difficulties concerning her custody because of accusations of drug abuse.
After Nathan Griffith’s mother, Doris Davidson, accused Jenelle of using weed while she was pregnant with Ensley, it opened a flood of accusations of abuse, neglect, and drug use. At the root of them all, according to Jenelle, was her own mother.
Now, Jenelle is firing back. If her accusations are true, it would be the plot twist of the century: Jenelle is accusing Doris herself of being guilty of abuse.

When Doris Davidson accused Jenelle of using drugs while she was pregnant with Ensley, she wasn’t messing around; she took the accusations to court. In the court documents, she claimed that Jenelle “has an extensive history of drug use” that returned while she was pregnant with Ensley.
She wrote, “Upon the birth of Ensley, the newborn tested positive for marijuana.” She went on to claim that “DSS became involved due to Ensley testing positive for marijuana and opened an investigation. Upon information and belief, both Plaintiff and David [Eason] had positive drug screens for marijuana.”
Jenelle seemed to think that Barbara is the one who was at the root of these accusations. It wasn’t long before Barbara spoke up, adding her own accusations into the mix.
“I’ve been worried about Kaiser for a long time,” she told Radar Online. “We think because he looks like Nathan, David gets more angry with him because of that fact… I think he’s trying to get rid of him, and then he’ll only have his own two kids and Jenelle in the house. He’s a conniving little thing.”
She went on to make some more concrete accusations of abuse, saying, “It is true that Jenelle locked Jace and Kaiser out. It was over 100 degrees. Jace told me. He was upset. Because Kaiser kept going in and out of the house, David locked them out.” She also claimed that David had hit Kaiser, saying, “Jace told me David hit Kaiser. Kaiser was pulling his diaper off because it had poop in it, and David got so mad that he spanked him really hard.”

Now, Jenelle is turning the tables. After Doris took her claims to the court, Jenelle fired right back with some accusations of her own.
The court documents Jenelle secured, which Radar Online reported on, pointed out that Nathan’s domestic violence charges may have come into play. “Defendant has pending felony charges resulting from allegations of domestic violence,” Jenelle wrote. “Defendant is often unable to care for the minor child during his designated visitation. Defendant does not contact Plaintiff first before arranging alternative childcare instead Defendant allows Doris Davidson to spend a significant portion of Defendants designated visitation time (including overnight) with the minor child outside the presence of Defendant.”
But the accusations didn’t stop there; they also accused Doris of hitting Kaiser. “The minor child has returned from his visitation with Defendant with severe bruising on his buttocks,” Jenelle said in court documents. “Plaintiff attempted to address this concern with Defendant and Doris Davidson and both the Defendant and Doris Davidson became hostile, threatening, and rude toward Plaintiff and would not maintain a respectful or business-like tone with Plaintiff.”
Those weren’t the ends of her accusations and complaints. “Defendant has not maintained a business-like, respective tone in his communication with Plaintiff. Defendant’s communication with Plaintiff consists of name calling, threats, and demeaning accusations,” Jenelle claimed.
She continued, “Both Defendant and Doris Davidson have intentionally bad-mouthed Plaintiff in the presences of the minor child and publicly through social media accounts.” She concluded, “Defendant refuses to co-parent with Plaintiff or agree to any changes in the visitation schedule, specifically Defendant refuses to switch visitation weekends with Plaintiff to allow the minor child to attend Plaintiff’s upcoming wedding.”
However, according to Radar, Jenelle did not address Doris’s claim that Jenelle used drugs during Ensley’s pregnancy but instead ignored them entirely.
