Is it over?
Jenelle Evans doesn’t exactly have the best rap sheet when it comes to relationships. Fans often joke about the fact that she referred to many of her exes as her “soulmate,” only to later break up with them. At 26, she’s had multiple engagements as well as two marriages. Many of her relationships end in screaming matches and custody battles, but fans have been hoping that she found “the one” in her husband David Eason.
Unfortunately, that might not be the case. As they continue to fight through battles with MTV and their co-stars, are David and Jenelle getting a divorce?
External stressors are a common reason why married couples file for divorce. Jenelle Evans
and David Eason have had enough of those to last them a lifetime in the past few months alone! In addition to fighting exes and mothers for custody, Jenelle and David have been facing off with MTV ever since David was fired for going on a homophobic rant. Could all of this be driving a wedge between them?
According to Radar Online, things aren’t looking great for their marriage. The outlet reports that “a Special Warranty Deed obtained from Columbus County Court reveals [Jenelle] bought new property on March 13 near their Bolton, North Carolina home.” They even got a hold of the paperwork!
Jenelle vs. David vs. Leah
Could Jenelle and David be separating amid all the drama? It’s not entirely clear. David is listed as “grantor” on the deed while Jenelle is listed as “grantee,” according to Radar, which means that they were both involved in the decision. However, that doesn’t rule out a mutual decision to take a break.
Right now, Jenelle and David seem to be a united front… against Leah Messer! The intense feud between Leah, Jenelle, and David started when David commented on a picture of Leah’s daughter Aleeah dressed up for her cheerleading performance.
“HOLY MAKEUP!” David wrote. “[David’s daughter] Maryssa won first place at Regionals and the Nationals competition without any makeup at all!” He went on, “I can’t believe Cory would allow her to wear that much makeup on her face.” When a fan called him out for critiquing another father, David shifted the blame back to Leah. “No, she just probably didn’t ask him if it was OK first,” David wrote. “I doubt he would allow that.”
Leah soon shot back, “Why are you even commenting on my post?” She later updated with, “I take opinions lightly, cause I don’t give a fuuuuuu. ESPECIALLY, if you’re irrelevant to my life.”
