A couple of weeks ago, I was rushing to eat (steak) and I started choking. SERIOUSLY choking. It would not move up & I could not swallow. Luckily, Cole was home and he performed the Heimlich and was able to get it out! All I kept thinking about was WHAT IF I had been home alone?

“Luckily, Cole was home and he performed the Heimlich and was able to get it out! All I kept thinking about was WHAT IF I had been home alone?” she wrote.
The Teen Mom then shared a video of how to perform the Heimlich Maneuver on oneself.
“So I felt the need to share a video on what to do if you are ever alone and start to choke, as well as a video on how to perform the heimlich on someone else.”
Who’d have thought we’d be getting first aid information from Chelsea!

She then made light of the situation, tweeting, “As if Cole doesn’t have to deal with enough of my shit already, he can now add saving my life from steak to that list.”
One Twitter user responded, “My solution? Don’t eat meat.”
I’d like to point out that people can choke on anything, and that is NOT a proper solution. Other users tweeted about their choking experiences and what they did to resolve the issue.
“Sixish months ago my 3 year old started choking and I froze. This kid stuck her fingers down her throat and PULLED THAT S**T OUT HERSELF. I refreshed how to do the Heimlich on a kid and TWO DAYS LATER she did it again,” tweeted another user.

Scary stuff! Chelsea recently tweeted about some other fears of hers.
“Has anyone gone on a Disney Cruise? I have a question,” she tweeted. “My family went when I was like 13 but I don’t remember….is it super safe? Are the railings high enough? Did you feel safe just letting the kids run around?”
Another user named Katie responded. “Brooks is about as wild & crazy as they come, and I was SO worried about that…We were REALLY strict on ‘your feet stay on the floor. No climbing, even to sit in a chair,’” she wrote.
“We watched all the cruise vlogs and analyzed everything also,” Chelsea responded. “But then after an article I read today I am paranoid all over again!”
