In a follow-up clip for MTV, Kayla tells viewers about her first pregnancy, “I was taking birth control pills. I’m forgetful and I forgot to take my pill and Voila…a baby!”
But when a Formspring user asked if she was on birth control, Kayla had a different response. She revealed, “i was on that seasonal (however you spell it) but it was messing me all up!!! So i got off of it and was gonna change too something else but then i got pregnant.”
It seems like Kayla did not learn her lesson. In 2015, Kayla gave birth to her second child, her first with Zach. “Welcome to the world Bryce Harper,” Kayla wrote on Facebook. Like his older brother, her second son came a few weeks early. Because of his premature delivery in 2010, MTV was unable to film Rylan’s birth for 16 and Pregnant.
