In a 2013 “Where Are They Now?” follow-up, Kayla was living with her mother and her stepfather. At the time of filming, she was taking a break from school. Kayla revealed that she was dating Ryan, the father of a one-year-old son, Nolan.
Things were serious enough that she shared her plans to move in with him onscreen, despite her mom’s evident disapproval. Kayla gushed, “As a mother, the quickest way to my heart is to see someone play with Rylan and be good with Rylan.” That relationship did not last long. Fans pretty much heard nothing more about the man she almost moved in with.
She then began dating Zach Bedwell shortly after their break-up. She announced their engagement by writing, “I am so excited that I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.”
