She hasn’t been onscreen since her episode of 16 and Pregnant. But that doesn’t mean that this teen mom has been keeping quiet. She recently gave birth to her third child…with her third baby daddy!

Kayla first appeared on Season 2 of 16 and Pregnant with her boyfriend John Robert Davis, or J.R. She is from Centre, Alabama, a small town near the Georgia border. Kayla described herself as a “college bound starry eyed girl head over heels for my first love, JR.”
Over the course of the episode, she gives birth a few weeks early to their son, Rylan. It’s been almost a decade since that episode and now she has announced her newest baby!

In a memorable moment of the 2010 episode, Kayla is desperate to take her newborn son horse-back riding with her, despite the reasonable objections of every other adult within earshot. “I want my son growing up knowing how to ride,” Kayla adamantly narrates in the voiceover. The horse’s discomfort is evident and her boyfriend takes the baby from her after a short period of time.
On her episode of 16 and Pregnant, J.R. proposed to Kayla and the couple became engaged. However, it quickly went south. Kayla shared, “Once we had our baby boy Rylan, our relationship fell apart.” She tells him in one clip, “I don’t think you realize how tough it’s gonna be raising a baby.”
She shared in her follow-up, “We just kinda co-parent with each other. Whenever I got pregnant, I pictured us being this happy little family. It turned out it wasn’t like that at all.”
