Although only 59 girls were profiled on the show, there are 62 16 and Pregnant babies. The difference between the number of mothers and babies is due to the fact that three of the teens had twins: Leah Messer (S2), Jennifer Del Rio-Guttierez, (S3), and Karley Shipley (S4). Also, of the 62 babies born to the 16 and Pregnant mothers, the gender distribution was exactly 50/50. Thirty one of the children are girls and 31 are boys!
Aidan and Aubrey are the most common names

Most of the girls picked unique names, but strangely variations of Aidan and Aubrey were the most popular choices for the young mothers. Three Aidans and three Aubreys (with different spellings) were born to mothers on the show.
Over half of the girls have had a second child
