Jenelle's third baby daddy!
Through the years, the Teen Mom fans have gotten to know Jenelle’s son, Jace. Not only is he adorable, but he’s also bubbly, energetic, and brings a lot of light into the family… not to mention cute Insta pics.
You might not know as much about Jace’s father though. Jenelle has recently opened up about Andrew Lewis and her relationship with this absentee dad.

If you haven’t heard the name Andrew Lewis, it might be because he wasn’t very involved in Jenelle and Jace’s lives. In fact, he’s been absent from their family since Jace was born.
In Jenelle’s memoir, Read Between the Lines: Diary of a Teenage Mom, Jenelle has opened up about her relationship with Jace’s dad, getting into details that didn’t make it onto the show.

Jenelle and Andrew met online. In her memoir, she writes, “We met online and talked through messages for a couple of weeks. Just after my birthday in December we finally met in person.”She says that she was so “enamored” with him that she didn’t think anything of his drinking habits or the fact that he was six years older than her.
“He did drink, a lot,” Jenelle shared. “I mean I like a beer every now and again, but he stayed wasted most of the time. At sixteen, I thought that was so cool. He drank more than he should, and I thought it was so adult and fascinating.”

Andrew used to pick Jenelle up from school, but when her school found out he was staying on school grounds, they threatened to suspend her because of his age. That didn’t stop them though, so she was eventually suspended because Andrew continued to come to school grounds to pick her up.
They had fun together, but she soon realized that he was very controlling. She writes, “I became a doormat for the guy. He came and got what he wanted from me, when he wanted it, and I waited for him to tell me what to do. We had to talk when he wanted to talk, no matter the odd hours. We had to go out when he wanted to go out. We did what he wanted to do.”
