Why Fans Believe Ryan Edwards Has Relapsed

Recovery from habitual drug use is not a straight line. For most former users, the way up is riddled with difficulties, temptation, and even relapse. Right now, many Teen Mom fans are convinced that Ryan Edwards is in just such a valley.

Although Ryan has yet to acknowledge these rumors, check out signs fans believe confirm this to be true.

Maci Bookout struggled to co-parent with Ryan Edwards from the very beginning. But things took a sharp turn when Ryan began struggling with an addiction to opiates, including heroin.

Although Ryan and his family were in deep denial about his use, Maci was very outspoken about it. And given that Ryan was filmed high on more than one occasion, there was no denying what was really going on.

Since then, Ryan has had more than one stint in rehab to get clean, and emerged last season seeming to have a grip on his addiction.

Unfortunately, according to some fans, Ryan may have relapsed.

“Scabs all over his head and chin. All jittery. Ryan is not sober. And his family is ignoring it and MTV is paying him to be a trainwreck,” a tweet shared on reddit reads. And many were quick to add their own theories.

“Yeah I cringed at that last night too 😳 especially noticing it while he was yelling and looked crazy as f*ck, it solidified for me that he’s not sober,” wrote user bluebonnettex. User cozaluk wrote, “Did u notice how Mack looked while he was yelling @ His father ? She actually looked a little scared. I don’t like the way she acts on tv, but I know what it’s like to live like that every day. It’s scary, she should get out & let him go get help. Being in a relationship is not what he needs.”

User Ann_Fetamine chimed in, “Gross. Face-picking all over da place. Shame. Love how his wife, mom & dad are in total la-la land about it. And dude is a massive d*ck so I have no sympathy for his situation. You can be an addict without being a douche.”
