Fans accused the couple of causing stress for the child due to their strained relationship. Tyler took to Twitter to defend against these accusations.
Yesterday he tweeted, “Wait…so a kid throws a fit nowadays & we’re calling it ‘abandonment anxiety issues’!? I must have not received that memo, but that you to all of the social media child therapists for this new diagnosis. Hahaha!”
Catelynn then shared her opinion on the matter as well.

“Also I nova was FINE two minutes after I left! That was my first time by myself in MONTHS!!! And it was my birthday! If you are a parent you know that sometimes u need me time!” she tweeted.
Fans were supportive of the couple. “People act like it it doesn’t break a parents heart when they leave the house and their child has a meltdown. But you need to take some time to yourself,” wrote user @meganl72.
Another user named @Tacoferrari said, “The fact that you have to even defend yourself about this is ABSURD.”

Last October, Catelynn posted a video on snapchat of her daughter riding a horse. Nova Reign is riding without a saddle and her helmet clearly has an improper fit. Fans on reddit were quick to criticize her and her husband Tyler for their poor parenting decision.
One user clarified, “It’s not so much about the no saddle thing itself as it is that not only is her helmet not on right, there are no professionals around, Callie is a bit jerky/stuffed legged here, AND this tiny child is without a saddle making the risk of injury significantly higher.”
They added, “Basically, Cate should not be the one supervising any of this.”
